Robert R. Foos, JR. Elected Equity Partner of Lewis Wagner, LLP

The Equity Partners of Lewis Wagner, LLP are pleased to announce that Robert R. Foos, Jr. has been elected Equity Partner.

Prior to joining Lewis Wagner in 2001, Rob served as In-House Counsel and acted as managing partner for a captive law firm in the insurance industry. He has an extensive background in all aspects of insurance defense litigation including third-party liability claims, complex coverage issues, first party litigation and bad faith. Rob is licensed in both Indiana and Illinois, and has tried several cases to verdict in both states, including catastrophic injuries and wrongful death litigation. In 2007, based on his extensive trial experience and reputation as a litigator, Rob was invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates.    Rob focuses a substantial portion of his practice to Transportation Ligation, representing trucking companies, drivers, rail carriers and their insurers. 

Rob is a 1997 graduate of The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois and completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts at Indiana University in 1994. Admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1998 and Illinois Bar in 1997, Rob is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for Northern Indiana and Southern Indiana and State of Illinois Supreme Court.

He is a member of the DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar, Trucking Industry Defense Association, Indiana Motor Truck Association, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and the American, Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations.
