Aleks is a litigation attorney focusing on the representation of commercial carriers and drivers in litigation involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and property damage claims. Prior to joining Lewis Wagner, Aleks was a Litigation Paralegal in Chicago, Illinois, where he provided trial support for a legal team of 25 attorneys. Aleks is fluent in Croatian, English, and Serbian languages.
Aleks earned his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While in law school, Aleks understood the importance of being active in student organizations and giving back to the community. Aleks served as an Associate Editor and Student Note Candidate for the Indiana Law Review, a mentor-advocate in the REACH program, Vice-Magister of the Phi Delta Phi Willkie Inn international legal honor society, Treasurer for SCRAP, Board Member for the Indianapolis Bar Association Law Student Division, and an IU McKinney Student Ambassador. Aleks co-founded and is the current president for the Serbian American Leadership Conference, a non-profit organization that aims to inspire future generations of Serbian Americans to become civically engaged.
Aleks is passionate about his family, Stoic philosophy, and advocating for causes close to his heart, particularly issues affecting the Serbian people and longevity endeavors that seek to eradicate disease and improve the quality of life for all. Outside of work, Aleks enjoys spending time with his family and serving the community.
