Alex is an associate attorney in Lewis Wagner’s Business Services practice group where he focuses on business transactions and commercial agreements. Prior to joining the firm, Alex was Associate General Counsel for a maritime transportation company where he worked with owners and company officers to translate unique ideas into agreements that captured upside potential while mitigating risk. Alex has experience working with private equity firms, financial institutions and brokers on transactional due diligence matters and has been involved in all stages of the acquisition process; from non-disclosure agreements to employee on-boarding.
While in law school, Alex volunteered as a Dean’s Tutorial Society legal writing tutor. Thereafter, he served on the Executive Board of the Dean’s Tutorial Society as the director of its legal writing tutors. He also participated in Moot Court and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, serving as the Chapter’s convention delegate in 2012. Prior to law school, Alex graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity.
Alex is a life-long Indianapolis resident and lives on the northside with his wife, daughter and miniature longhaired dachshund, Stella. He enjoys spending time with his family at local museums, golfing and horology.
