  • John was recognized as a 25 year practitioner at the 2006 IBA/IBF Recognition Awards Luncheon held in November.




  Sharon Funcheon Murphy
  • Sharon will again serve as editor of the Workers' Compensation Newsletter on behalf of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section 2007-2008.

  • Sharon has also been appointed to serve as a member of the Grievance and Bylaws Committee of the Central Indiana Tennis Association (CITA).





  Mary F. Panszi
  • Mary is a Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and will serve as a Director of the Board 2006-2008. She has accepted the position of Chair of the IBF Scholarship Committee for 2007-2008, and she will serve on the Executive Committee of the IBF as well.

  • Mary will chair the Sponsorship Committee for the Bench Bar.

  • Tammy has been asked by the President of the Indianapolis Bar Association to serve on the Legislative Committee; she has been asked by the President of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation to Chair the Events Committee; and she has been asked by the Defense Research Institute to Chair the 2008 DRIs Damages Seminar.





  Richard K. Shoultz
  • Rick authored the article Survey on Recent Developments in Insurance Law which has been published in the Indiana Law Review. The article can be found at 40 Ind.L.Rev. 963 (2007).




  Daun A. Weliever
  • Daun was trained last year and now participates as an advocate in the Pro-Bono Protective Order Project. The Protective Order Pro Bono Project (POPBP), was created to match volunteer attorneys and law students with victims of domestic abuse. These teams interview, counsel and represent the victim at protection order hearings to help that victim obtain or enforce a protective order. The motto of the organization is: "To provide, for low income victims of domestic abuse, free legal services, including obtaining and enforcing orders meant to protect them, and to educate the legal community about domestic abuse."

  • Valerie has been appointed to the Indiana State Bar Association Federal Judiciary Committee.
