Biography

An associate in Lewis Wagner’s complex litigation group, Jon’s concentrations are product liability defense, professional liability defense, and class action defense.  He is known and respected most for his thorough legal research, excellent legal writing, and creative problem solving.  Before joining the Firm, Jon worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. In that role, Jon researched statutory and case law concerning charitable trusts, consumer fraud, and administrative and judicial decisions on tax exemption, unemployment benefits, and agency and contract liability.  Jon earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as Notes Editor for the Elder Law Journal.  While in law school, Jon competed in the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition, the ABA Negotiation Competition, and the ABA Client Counseling Competition. Jon’s past work experience includes serving as a congressional staff member for U.S. Representative Peter J. Roskam.
