Lewis Wagner is committed to improving the communities we serve. Each year, we support the arts, diversity and inclusion, education, sustainability, and health and wellness. Our employees volunteer their time with several organizations and participate in a variety of charitable events, both individually and as Firm-sponsored teams.

One of the initiatives we are most proud of is our Adopt-a-School Program. Lewis Wagner’s Diversity Committee spearheaded this program with Snacks Crossing Elementary School in Pike Township. The partnership promotes literacy and an overall love of reading in young students through monthly “read alouds,” school-wide essay contests, and a book drive. Lewis Wagner employees also donate school supplies and volunteer at school events.

Lewis Wagner lawyers and staff visit Snacks Crossing each month to read to the students. The students also showcase their writing skills by submitting essays to Lewis Wagner for a chance to win the monthly essay contest. After a firm wide vote, Lewis Wagner employees select a winning essay from each grade. The essay contest winners are announced over the loud speakers at school and awarded a personalized bag containing books and reading accessories.

The Adopt-a-School program has proven to be an equally rewarding experience for both Snacks Crossing students and Lewis Wagner employees.
